Scholars & Citizens of the Month

One recipient from each class is chosen once a month to be recognized for outstanding academic performance (Scholar of the Month) and outstanding citizen (Citizen of the Month). Teachers choose these students based on their academic achievement and outstanding citizenship inside and outside of the classroom.

Teachers in grades 2 to 6 also choose the best artwork or writing representing the monthly PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention & Supports) theme. 

Students are recognized for the above recognitions at the monthly award’s assembly, which is held in person. Family members may also join the assembly via Google Meets. Teachers share the Google Meets link with the recipient’s family.
